Delete your account

Mealith's free app has no account: your diary is on your device, and deleting the app deletes it. You have an account only if you signed in, for example for Mealith Plus. This page explains how to delete that account.
In the app
Open Settings, then Mealith Plus, and tap "Delete Mealith Plus account". It is deleted straight away.
Without the app
Email support@mealith.com from the email address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm by email and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted, and when
- Your account, your email address, your encrypted backup, your synced entries and devices, and your locked keys are deleted from our servers straight away.
- Copies in our server backups expire within 30 days. They stay encrypted with your key until then.
- An active Mealith Plus subscription is cancelled for you. A refund for the unused time is available as the Refund Policy says.
- Purchase records stay with Paddle, our merchant of record, as tax law requires.
- The diary on your devices is not touched. Delete the app, or clear its data, to remove it.
- Foods you shared with the community stay public, because they carry nothing about you. Email us if you want one removed.
